GRAND TOURS

GRANDTOUR THROUGH THE CZECH REPUBLIC - 12-20 days

This universal circuit could be entered at any place. In Prague it is suitable for overseases, Marianske Lazne or the Giant Mountains are the usual starting point for German clients, Cesky Krumlov or Brno for the Austrian visitors. A commended itinerary for individuals too. You have a possibility to extend it to Slovakia from the Beskydy Mountains or to Austria (Salzburg or Vienna) from South Moravia or to spend more time in Prague or another bigger town (see separate articles on them and possible trips).

1st day - arrival to Marianske Lazne Spa (overnight stay)
2nd day - sightseeing tour of Marianske Lazne, Karlovy Vary Spa - Tepla (monastery) -Marianske Lazne (overnight stay)
3rd day - Plzen (brewery, historic centre) - Prague (sightseeing tour, overnight)
4th day -Prague
5th day - Kutna Hora (UNESCO) - Sedlec (ossuary,church) - Czech Paradise (hiking trip, romantic castles or ruins) - Spindleruv Mlyn in the Giant Mountains (overnight stay)
6th day - coach circuit through the Giant Mountains - Spindleruv Mlyn - Pec pod Snezkou (Snezka) - Harrachov (glass museum) - Spindleruv Mlyn (overnight stay)
7th day - Hradec Kralove (town) -Litomysl (square, chateau) - Olomouc (tour, overnight stay)
8th day - Kromeriz (UNESCO) - Beskydy Mountains - Roznov pod Radhostem (open air museum) - overnight stay in Beskydy
9th day hiking trip in the Beskydy Mountains - Austerlitz (Slavkov) - Brno (overnight stay)
10th day - trip to Moravian Karst (caves, underground boat trip) - Brno (sightseeing tour, overnight stay)
11th day - Telc (UNESCO) - Jindrichuv Hradec (historic town, chateau) - Trebon (spa, chateau) - Cesky Krumlov (overnight stay)
12th day - sightseeing tour of Cesky Krumlov - Ceske Budejovice (brewery, overnight stay)
13th day - trip to the Hluboka Chateau - Pilsen (historic centre, synagogue, overnight stay)
14th day - Kladruby (monastery) - departure via Marianske Lazne Cheb or back to Prague etc.

It can be prolonged in any mountainous region and spent with outdoor activities
1st day - Cheb (historic town) - Frantiskovy Lazne Spa - SOOS (natural reserve, walking) - Karlovy Vary (overnight stay)
2nd day - sightseeing tour of Karlovy Vary - Jachymov Spa - the Ore Mountains - Usti nad Labem (overnight)
3rd day - Litomerice (historic town) - via Czech Central Massif to area of Elbe Sandstones (rock cities, downstream trip along the Kamenice River) - Ústi nad Labem (overnight)
4th day - Novy Bor (the glass capital) - the Giant Mountains Harrachov - Spindleruv Mlyn (overnight stay)
5th day - Trutnov - Adrspassko-Teplicke Rocks (bizarre rock cities, walking) - via the Orlicke Mountains to Jeseniky (overnight stay)
6th day - Olomouc - Kromeriz - arrival to Brno (overnight)
7th day - Brno (tour) - a trip to Moravian Karst (caves) - Brno (overnight)
8th day - Mikulov (hiking in the Palava region) - Lednice-Valtice (chateaux, walking in the parks, overnight)
9th day - Telc (UNESCO town) - Cesky Krumlov (UNESCO town, overnight stay)
10th day - Horni Plana (Adalbert Stifter's Memorial) - by funicular to Klec (hiking trip) or mountainbiking in the Sumava Mountains or watersports on the Lipno Dam or canoeing Vltava to Vyssi Brod (monastery) - overnight stay in Cesky Krumlov
11th day - Ceske Budejovice (brewery) - Hluboka (chateau) - Plzen (overnight stay)
12th day - if demanded a trip to Prague - Plzen (overnight stay)
13th day - Kladruby (monastery) - Marianske Lazne Spa (overnight stay)
